An interpretation of the peony, shaped in its natural form and captured in profile, where the fullness of the petals is balanced by the fine line of the stem.

The details of the stem design function as a fastening, recalling the simple gesture of picking a flower and pinning it onto clothing. A familiar act, translated into a lasting object that will not wilt nor fade.
